Hey, all! I know it’s been legitimately forever since I’ve checked in on this blog and I truly do apologize. I just haven’t had any time to do any blogging besides on my personal, and as a result, all of my other blogs (not just this one) have fallen by the wayside. My sincere apologies.

That said, it’s been a big last couple of months, since Fincher’s film debuted in the US and it’s been announced that the sequels have been greenlit despite underwhelming box office performance. I have seen the film and while I did think it had its merits, I did not like many of the directorial choices and some of the screenwriting ones, and I’ve already expressed my opinions about the promotional materials. I will be posting my analysis of the film on my book-reviewing blog sometime soon, and I will link to it here should any of you desire to read it.

For the sake of fairness, I will represent the Fincher film here, though it will be via reblogs and not of my own making (while I do own the Swedish films on DVD, I don’t have any plans to own the American one, unless my opinion should change in the future). I will also offer a congratulations to Rooney Mara for her Oscar nomination this morning.

I hope to get back to updating this blog soon, but I’d like to reiterate that I am a college student in a demanding program and that my time is often not my own. Hopefully I will be able to provide you all with the news and entertainment you so desire.
